Corporate Governance
The Government Commission German Corporate Governance Codex has drawn up and summarized the
principles of good, responsible corporate management. The Codex contains the major legal
regulations governing corporate management and the monitoring of listed companies and, in the form
of recommendations, reflects internationally and nationally recognized standards of conduct. In
addition, it contains advice on good, responsible corporate management.
As part of it's long-standing tradition of good corporate governance, the HVB Group follows
these recommendations and suggestions to a great extent. The few exceptions are explained in
detail, as prescribed by law.
